Further expansion: PBS Holding takes over Adveo Benelux

PBS Holding, based in Wels, Austria, is taking over Adveo Benelux with retroactive effect from 1 August. The company acquired from Adveo France strengthens the Group's network, which is now active in ten European countries.

The acquisition of Adveo Benelux, consisting of Adveo Belgium and Adveo Netherlands, strengthens the company and supports the growth strategy through the international network of PBS Holding, explains Erwin Snoeker, Managing Director of Adveo Benelux.

‘PBS Holding is active in many European countries and has been focussing on the Benelux market for some time. This acquisition allows us to strengthen our position in Europe and add a nice, healthy company like Adveo to our portfolio. We know Adveo Benelux as an ambitious, growing company with an excellent, committed team that fits perfectly into our strategy,’ says Richard Scharmann, CEO of PBS Holding.

PBS Holding is one of the main members of Interaction and Adveo Benelux will therefore also become a member of Interaction. Interaction is a purchasing group that buys together on a European level and operates its own brand: Q-Connect.

For Adveo Benelux's customers and suppliers, this means that they will continue to work with the same people, including the support of a European company. The day-to-day operations of Adveo Benelux will remain in the hands of the current management team, led by General Manager Erwin Snoeker. This is the second acquisition for PBS Holding this year, following the takeover of O.C.L. in Italy, which was successfully integrated into the Italian PBS wholesale business Desktoo.
