Model postpones start-up of paper machine in Eilenburg

The new containerboard machine at Model’s Eilenburg plant will start up in early or mid-June, a company spokesperson told EUWID.
The machine was originally planned to be ramping up this month.
Model gave no reasons for the postponement of commissioning of the machine.
However, for the first time, the company is providing specific details on the product portfolio of the new Eilenburg paper machine: The focus will be on corrugating medium and testliner in grammages between 70 and 120 gsm.
The total capacity of the 9.40 m wide machine is 600,000 tpy.
